What does Off-lease Recertified mean?

Recertified laptops offered by Notebooks for Students are off-lease business class computers. These laptops were never used by the general public. They were leased by large corporations (banks, insurance companies, etc.) for use by their employees. While on lease, the notebooks were always maintained by a professional IT department. Business class laptops are manufactured to a higher quality then consumer class laptops incorporating the highest quality processors, hard drives, motherboards and cases.

When the lease expires the laptops are returned to the manufacturer for a full refurbishing process that returns them to a "like new" condition. This laptop is then offered to you by Notebooks for Students. Quite frankly, it's very difficult to tell the difference between a Notebooks for Students' Off lease - Recertified notebook and a new one off the shelf.

New and Off lease - Recertified laptops are covered with a 4-year Warranty
