What does refurbished mean?

Notebooks offered by Notebooks for Students are off-lease computers. These notebooks were never used by the general public. They were leased by large corporations for use by their employees. While on lease, the notebooks were always maintained by a professional IT department. 

When the lease expires the notebooks complete a full refurbishing process that returns the notebook to a "like new" condition. This notebook is then offered to you by Notebooks for Students. Quite frankly, it's very difficult to tell the difference between a Notebooks for Students' notebook and a new one off the shelf.
